THINK before you shoot

I have been thinking about photography lately. Mr. I always complain that I take photos too "freely" & "snappyly" without thinking too much (thanks to the new era of Digital photography and Lomography's sales pitch of "don't think just shoot?). Resulting in photos that lack a bit of "involveness" and "emotions".

Maybe he is right.

I am starting an excerise - I will only take with me a film camera that has 10 or so photos. So each photo, I need to ask myself if it is worth it before pressing the button... That day, I tried it..& I think - I like it...

Photo of a homeless guy early @ morning outside QVB of Sydney.
1st photo of my 1st disposable camera

2 Good models + 1 Disposable camera = limitless boundaries

Taken during my wonderful trip to Sydney (visiting dear friends!). Thanks D & K for bringing me to such a nice location! I had so much fun.

Who can think that disposable cameras can produce such nice results? I need to rethink about my photography gear. hehe

Spending~~~~~~~

Still feeling a bit bad from spending an ENORMOUS amount on a camera~~~
I will earn it back... I will earn it back...................(one day...........................)

When can we have a home?

The World's property prices are soaring high! Sigh Sigh~
I just want a place to hide
Why you give me a difficult ride?
Even snails have home
So Why can't I?

(Finding a place to call "home" with Mr.I....not as easy as we thought!!)

Marriage & Dishwashing

Why Marriage comes with dishwashing?
Why love comes with pain?
Mum says light comes with shadow
Is that what we call Ying enhances Yang?

(okok...I will learn how to wash dishes without breaking any....Just give me some time!)

Wedding~~~ 15 months to go

I have known him for 7 years. Next year, next year, Mr.I and I will tie our knots together.
Still working on the gifts for guests, invites and video... Long way to go!

Cityscape + Escape From City

Taken from a hotel window when I was capturing memories of a pair of newly weds on their wedding day. Are these what we call "Man-made mountains"?
Some view but with double exposure. When developed, this reminds of scenery in New Zealand (pretending to be a lake, reflecting the sky?) - Finding nature in Man-made nature....
Last Sunday, my sister and I went to a village-side - A scenery rarer and rarer these days. I need to preserve these memories in a jar, to show my son (and son's son's) that once, there is a thing called "nature".
